Please read these terms carefully, print and keep a copy of for your reference.  The terms and conditions set, shall not affect your statutory rights.  Jessica Jewellery Design reserves the right to withdraw any goods from the website at any time and shall not be liable to anyone for withdrawing any goods from the Website or for refusing to process an order.
 
Jessica Jewellery Design reserves the right to periodically update prices on the website, which cannot be guaranteed for any period of time.  Jessica Jewellery Design shall make every effort to ensure prices are correct at the time of purchase, however reserves the right to refuse an order in the event of a pricing error.
 
The jewellery is handmade and individually printed, due to the unique nature of the products; no two items are the same.  Each piece is subject to minor fluctuations in size, shape, colour and appearance.  Sizes are given as a guide only.   While Jessica Jewellery Design will make all reasonable efforts to supply items similar to those displayed or already sold, no warranty is made as to the degree of similarity. 
 
Every effort is made to ensure that items appearing on the website are available, but this cannot be guaranteed and so Jessica Jewellery Design reserve the right to reject your order without liability.  If we are unable to process or fulfil your order we will refund any payment that you have made for that item.
 
How to place an order
 
Browse the Etsy pages and select the items you wish to buy.  On the items page enter the quantity and size of the items you wish to purchase and click the buy button.  Follow the on screen instructions to complete your purchase.  On completion of your order you will receive a confirmation email.  In the event of an error, do not place a second order without first contacting Jessica Jewellery Design by email at [email protected].

How payments are made
 
Payments are made via PayPal, though a PayPal account is not necessary.  Payments can be made using the following Credit and Debit cards:  MasterCard, Maestro, VISA, VISA Electron, American Express and Solo.
 
Delivery
 
Jessica Jewellery Design will aim to process your order within 48 hours, but please allow up to 7 working days for delivery.  Bespoke made to order items however, will take longer; you will be contacted by Jessica Jewellery Design to confirm a delivery date.
 
Items will only be delivered to the billing address and will not be sent to a care of address under any circumstance.
 
UK Delivery – Postage and packing costs £3.99 for standard economy delivery, £7.50 for the Royal Mail next working day ‘Special Delivery’ (This is a next day (applicable weekdays only) and your parcel will require a signature on receipt.) service per order. 
 
International Delivery (outside the UK) – Postage and packing costs £8.50 per order for EU destinations and £8.99 for worldwide, the parcel will be sent via the Royal Mail ‘International Signed For’ service.  Your parcel will require a signature on receipt.  When items are sent to another country, your parcel is often handled by more than one postal service.  Unfortunately that means delivery problems are more likely.  When we send a parcel abroad, the actual delivery of the item will be the responsibility of the postal service in the country the items are going to.  Delays can often be caused by customs checks, which can sometimes take up to 1-2 weeks. There may also be import taxes added when you collect the parcel which are out of my control and payable by the customer.
 
Jessica Jewellery Design reserves the right to charge you for any extra costs arising from any changes you make to the Delivery Address after your order has been submitted.  Refusal or failure to take delivery could result in additional costs, you the consumer shall be liable to pay on demand all costs incurred as a result of this and costs of any product storage.
 
Late and Lost Deliveries
 
If your delivery has been delayed, then please contact us and we will provide you with the tracking number to enable you to trace your parcel with the Royal Mail.
Please note that we do not refund or replace items that are tracked as being delivered.  You can request a proof of delivery certificate from the Royal Mail (www.royalmail.com) by filling in a signature request form. 
 
We cannot refund or replace lost items until a minimum 30 working days after the date of despatch.
 
Cancellation and Return
 
The consumer may cancel the order for any reason up to the point of dispatch and any payments made by the consumer shall be refunded in full within 14 days.  The consumer shall inspect the goods ordered immediately upon receipt. If the Goods received are damaged, faulty or not what was ordered, the consumer must notify Jessica Jewellery Design in writing within 7 days which can be sent via email to [email protected].  If the consumer fails to do this the customer shall be deemed to have accepted the Goods.  Items shall be returned by the consumer to Jessica Jewellery Design within 28 days of delivery.
 
You have a 14 day cooling off period after the date of delivery of the goods.  During this period you can return your goods for any reason. However you must take reasonable care of any products in your possession.  The consumer must again write a cancellation notice via e-mail to [email protected]
 
To arrange a return of an item please email Jessica Jewellery Design quoting your name and address, details of the product, the reason for return and whether you require a refund or replacement.  Your original postage costs from your order be refunded however return postage costs will NOT. If you have paid in advance, you will be refunded within 14 days of giving the cancellation notice and receipt of the returned goods to Jessica Jewellery Design.
 
The item is your responsibility until it reaches us. For your own protection, we recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods. We cannot be held responsible for returns that are lost in transit.
 
Complaints Procedure
 
If you would like to make a complaint in regards with any aspect of your order please write to Jessica Jewellery Design, PO Box 984, Yarm, TS19 1RB.  Be assured that complaints will be dealt with swiftly, fairly, and effectively and all information exchanged will be confidential.  Jessica Jewellery Design will also notify the consumer as to the likely timescale and progress of the solution.

All copyright and intellectual rights of the goods and their design are the property of Jessica Sherriff, Jessica Jewellery Design, and the consumer agrees that they will not for any purpose copy the goods, commission copies of the goods or otherwise cause them to be copied by any person, company or other organisation.
 
Warning
 
Acrylic and other plastics are prone to damage when brought into contact with solvents including but not limited to perfume, insect repellent, aerosols, tanning products, moisturisers, make up, hair products like hair spray, hand creams and sun tan lotions.  Jessica Jewellery Design advises that you do not put any products on the area where the jewellery is to be worn, and avoid letting them come into contact with any such substances.  Each item of jewellery sold will be supplied with a brief care sheet summarising this fact.  Jessica Jewellery Design will not be liable for any solvent related damage however caused.
